Nurses at Dundas Square / Blog Intro

I think this beautiful couple is a perfect start to my blog (of whose names I forgot to grab - my apologies!). They are both nurses who shared with me that they deal with patients suffering from mental illness regularly in their profession and that it is extremely challenging.

My goal with this blog is to open your eyes to the fact that everyone around us is affected by mental health or just general life challenges in some form or another. Too many people suffer in silence due to the stigma and shame of feeling like they are the only ones struggling, when in fact everyone has a story to tell.

Thank you kind (and super stylish) strangers for taking the time to chat and take your photo, and thank you for the hard work that you do for all of us at our worst. Seriously, you are amazing.
